Walking to Washington D.C. in 2018 made me realize that there could never be enough awareness raised about human trafficking. On August 1, 2019 I trekked the west coast by walking the state of California which has the highest rate of cases of human trafficking in the country. The goal has been to make people aware that this crime is reaching every community from the east coast to the west coast.
